Guillermo has very interesting relatives starting with his grandfather, Jose Martorell Mallofré. At a very young age, his grandfather fell in love with the cuban culture and moved in the 20s of the last century to Cuba. Having a very diverse career, before being a leading developer in Spain, Jose Martorell was running a successful business of liquor in Camagüey, Cuba. It was during that time where he met Al Capone.
During the time of dry law in the USA, between 1920 and 1933, Al Capone used to visit Cuba regularly where he was buying RUM from Guillermo's grandfather.
